We are currently looking for a Head of Quality (m/f/d) to maintain the current standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, GCP and GLP) and drive the expansion of our GMP activities with a corporate team as well as quality representatives in the broader organization.

Job Description

• You are responsible for the quality system (QM, QA, Regulatory) within Eurofins Genomics in Europe, covering ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, GLP, GLCP, GCP and GMP at all sites
• You lead the corporate quality team – mainly located in Ebersberg, Germany – and have a dotted line to quality colleagues in the business units.
• You report to the COO of Eurofins Genomics Europe
• You personally act as strong business partner for BU Managers and top management in all quality related matters. In this function you are a key player in shaping the quality roadmap for Eurofins Genomics and the way new business opportunities are pursued. This role is mirrored on lower management levels by members of your team.
• Together with your Team
  • You take the lead on entire internal and external audit management, including customer and supplier Audits
  • You manage the interaction with accreditation / certification bodies and competent authorities
  • You are responsible for central quality processes like QM handbook, management review, etc.
  • You implement and maintain an electronic QM system (eQMS)
• You define and monitor quality related KPIs for operative Units

The position is based in Ebersberg, Germany, with regular travel to other Eurofins Genomics sites in Germany and Denmark.

Qualifications

• You have a master’s degree or higher; ideally in biology, chemistry or related disciplines
• You have worked in different quality functions in the Pharma or Biotech industry for at least 10 years, at least 2 in a leadership position
• You have in depth kledge about ISO 17025, ISO 13485 and GMP; GCP/GLP, IVDR and other ISO norms (especially ISO 27001) is a clear plus
• You follow LEAN principles in your daily work and embrace working in an agile way
• You are a strong thinker with a hands-on attitude and a drive for implementation

The position will be filled for an indefinite period.
