Join us as a Radiation Engineer (m/f/d) and be part of this transformative journey.

What You'll Encounter:

* Conduct radiation simulations for space environments to define radiation requirements for our electronic designs.

* Organise, prepare, oversee, and/or execute radiation tests at both component and system levels (TID, Proton, etc.), either in external testing facilities or in-house.

* Coordinate bookings of radiation test facilities, aligning with project priorities, preparation levels, and technical intricacies.

* Review complex and state-of-the-art electronic systems' designs at the system and electronic board levels.

* Devise strategies to enhance radiation tolerance and overall system resilience through error mitigation.

* Participate in project design assessments and contribute to technical proposals for cutting-edge space technology products.

* Compile documentation and test reports while maintaining pertinent electronic parts databases.

Your Qualifications:

* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in radiation for space systems and components.

* Proficiency in radiation analysis tools like SPENVIS or CREME96, FastRAD, OMERE.

* Experience in radiation testing and analysis techniques.

* Familiarity with space radiation environments and their impact on electronic and mechanical components.

* Significant experience in design reviews and project milestone assessments is advantageous.

* Kledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) CAD design tools (Altium preferred but not mandatory) is a plus.

* Broad expertise beyond electronics, contributing to a comprehensive kledge base and consultancy capacity.

* Additional background in the laser and electro-optics sector, alongside electronics, is beneficial.

* Strong written and spoken English skills; German proficiency is advantageous.
