The role…

… is based at SDC´s location in Hallbergmoos-Munich, Germany.
In this role you will

  • have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across Europe to support sales and implement marketing tactics, campaigns and projects that drive sustainable growth and build our brands in the markets.
  • define channel strategy & operationalize marketing tactics as per overall marketing strategy, like offline, email, web, samples, giveaways, product representation, events, sales support
  • define and monitor measurements of dedicated channels/ tactics to drive effectiveness
  • manage the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, projects and online improvements from ideation to execution
  • co-ordinate and control external resources such as agencies, free-lancers, and service providers directly related to the implementation of marketing activities
  • contribute to and support development of marketing excellence through new ways of working, tools & systems, to increase efficiencies and drive marketing effectiveness
  • communicate to the organization and its key stakeholders of marketing activities and projects
  • act as brand guideline guardian and drive implementation of these guidelines of our brands across all customers touchpoints


In this is role, you will be a key member of the EMEA Marketing & Product Management Team to help SDC grow the different brands by driving customer relevance. You report directly to the Head of Marketing and Product Management SDC EMEA.

To succeed in this role…

… you should have

  • fluent and proficient German and English language skills (mandatory)
  • a Bachelor education or equivalent, with a strong marketing/ digital background
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing operational role with a technical product offering (preferable configured products)
  • experience in a wide arena of marketing tactics (like e-Mail, offline, events, content, web, product launches, sales support, PPC/ SEO, Social …)
  • ideally a background in residential and/ or industrial doors industry, the door components industry or building materials or building elements industry
  • a strong appetite for data and insights, to drive data-driven decision making
  • strength in project and stakeholder management
  • worked in an international setting and with remote stakeholders
  • strong presentation, communication & computer skills (Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, CMS & CRM)
  • the ability to manage complexity (different customer segments/needs, multiple brands, go-to-market strategies, many stakeholders)
  • a hands on mentality and are a self-starter
